Please download the DEMO (trial version) for free and see if you like it. Outpost Kaloki is an older game (released in 2004), so it's a good idea to try the demo to make sure it runs nicely on your PC.
When you buy the game here on itch.io, you'll get access to download a License Key that unlocks the full game from the same demo you already have installed. You'll also be able to download a full unlocked version (with no installer) if you prefer.

Changing Resolution/Windowed Mode
You can edit the settings.ini file inside the "fsall" folder where the project was installed. You can change "FullScreen" to "no" to make the game run in a window. And you can change the XScreenRes and YScreenRes values to something you prefer, e.g. 1920 by 1080

Hmm... We haven't got a plan for releasing on Steam or other marketplaces, but we can talk about it.
Honestly, I'm trying to remember what was unique about the X version we released on Xbox 360. "Enhanced graphics", evidently. More levels, in theory, but was that the DLC campaigns, or something else? It's been so many years... In any case, yeah, we could some day release everything that we released for the X version.

That would be amazing. With how much game variety Steam has today, especially time management sims and service industry sims, it would be great to have OKX there. It's a very iconic piece of the X360 era for me.
Wikipedia says that X has "enhanced graphics", "More than twice as many levels on the Xbox 360 release, including extra campaigns and scenarios" (this probably means the War Path, extra levels, and the DLC challenges and Love Path?), and "a leaderboard and time challenges".

I remember the game caught my eyes when it was released but I never got around to actually playing it... until I realised it was now available here and works nicely on modern PCs. Nice little casual business sim with a quirky SF theme.
Thank you for this game! I've been wanting to play this again for years! Please consider updating this game with some modern features and settings and releasing on Steam. I think this game would be very successful.
